The location right by the sea was stunning, and we had a direct view of the beautiful sea.

the chef is always available. it boasts comfy bunk beds, we had nice sleep. perfect location for kerames, its very close to the sea.

The staff here is very generous and we enjoyed the great setting just off the seafront. This place is perfect for a relaxing getaway.

Value for money was excellent, with comfortable rooms and breathtaking ocean views. The staff at this hidden gem were incredibly welcoming and friendly.

Beautiful Scenery and Secluded Setting

This place is not far from where the taverna is located and is set in a secluded bay, which was stunning and marvelous on the shore. We could enjoy lovely views over the sea. 🌅

The location of the hotel is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the sea right from your balcony. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the shower has great water pressure and hot water. The staff provides excellent service and the food at the restaurant is fantastic.

Parking can be challenging and service at the restaurant can be slow at times.

My stay at this hidden gem was simply breathtaking. Waking up to the mesmerizing ocean view from the incredibly comfortable bed was a magical way to start each day. The tranquility and beauty of the location allowed me to truly relax and unwind. The food at the taverna was absolutely amazing, and the friendly locals made my experience even more delightful. I couldn't have asked for a better place to escape and find peace.

While the location was idyllic, accessing the accommodation with a large suitcase was a bit challenging due to the hillside and beach path. Parking was also a bit difficult, as the small car park was often full.

The apartment's balcony offers jaw-dropping, heavenly vistas. The accommodation exudes authentic charm, reminiscent of Greece decades ago, and the shower room has been beautifully modernized. The bed is super comfy, the A/C efficient, and the shower boasts great pressure and hot water. The small acts of kindness, such as receiving free water bottles for our journey, made our stay even more special. The taverna serves delicious, typical Greek dishes, and the open kitchen adds to the experience. Perfect for relaxation, snorkeling, and sunbathing on the free sunbeds. Other stunning beaches like Preveli and Triopetra are easily reachable by car. The owners and staff are an amazing, friendly family, providing outstanding service. Miss Vagia keeps the rooms impeccably clean. This place is truly a piece of paradise on the serene south coast. Absolutely phenomenal! Thank you!

The location of this hotel was absolutely stunning. With breathtaking views of the sea and mountains, it was the perfect spot to relax and get away from it all. The private terrace was a highlight, offering a peaceful and serene place to enjoy the beauty of the surroundings. The food at the taverna downstairs was also a standout feature. With fresh, delicious fish and a great selection of Greek and Cretan dishes, we couldn't resist dining there multiple times. And the fact that there was a lovely private beach just outside the taverna was an added bonus, making it easy to take a dip in the crystal clear waters whenever we pleased.

One downside to the hotel was the parking situation. Despite being paying guests, we found it difficult to find a parking spot in the small car park and often had to park further up the hill.

I recently stayed at Agia Fotia Taverna and it was a truly unique experience. The location is secluded and perfect for getting away from it all. The journey to the taverna along the mountain roads is an adventure in itself. From the balcony of my apartment, the view was absolutely heavenly, overlooking the sea. The accommodation had an authentic and charming feel, reminding me of Greece thirty years ago. The room was clean and comfortable, with a modern shower room. The food in the taverna was typical Greek fare and the open kitchen added to the charm. The staff were also very kind and gave us complimentary water for our journey.

We had a lovely time at Agia Fotia. The staff were generous, professional, and friendly. The bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable, and the views were breathtaking. The food was divine, and the wine of excellent quality, both offering great value for money. The internet was really fast, and the peaceful and quiet atmosphere made for a truly relaxing experience. The location in one of the most beautiful areas of Crete was a bonus, with easy access to famous beaches and a lovely private beach right outside.
